Prayers and Scripture

Prayers for provision

Worry about money, work, and daily needs can quietly steal your peace. God knows what you need before you ask, and he is a faithful provider.

These verses are for the anxious and the stretched-thin. Bring your real needs to a God who sees them.

A prayer for provision

Lord, you know the needs I am carrying right now, the bills, the work, the uncertainty about what comes next. I confess that worry has crowded out my trust. Remind me that you feed the birds and clothe the fields, and that I am worth far more to you than these. Help me to seek your kingdom first and to trust that what I need will be provided. Supply my needs according to your riches, not according to what I can see in my account today. Give me wisdom with what I have, contentment in this season, and the courage to keep working faithfully. Where I have been gripping too tightly out of fear, teach me to hold things with an open hand and to give generously. I trust you as my provider, the one who has never abandoned the righteous. Meet me here, and let me rest in your care. Amen.
